PERSPECTIVE PLAYGROUND by JESTER comes in a box and makes you think outside of it. 56 cards are going to break your routines by turning them against themselves.
This card game helps you to expand your understanding of complex problems in no time. It challenges your routines and sparks new perspectives. Because perspectives move thinking, and changes in perspective keep thinking in motion.
Developed by Berlin University of the Arts students in cooperation with Berlin-based creative consultancy JESTER, this game embodies the organization’s unique approach: driving innovation through creativity and leveraging the unique strengths of clients, environments, and situations.

Perspective Playground is a card game that challenges creativity by breaking routines and encouraging players to change perspectives. It forces you to indulge in absolute shenanigans for a few minutes, leading to a deeper understanding of complex issues and uncovering surprising solutions.

Perspective Playground is a creative multitool. Whenever you're stuck, need a lot of good ideas in a short time, and of course, want to have fun together. It was created for the business context, to generate as much high-quality and creative output as possible in workshops or problem-solving situations. However, it can also help with everyday problems. Make it your game. With your challenge.

How does the game work?

- Step 1: Define challenge – Gather your team and define a core challenge. Agree on a clear challenge and desired outcome. Appoint a "Minister of Documentation" to capture all ideas during the foolish five minutes.
- Step 2: Play Round 1 – Flip the coin to choose a game mode convince/you are, draw a Perspective Card, and brainstorm for five minutes.
- Step 3: Play Round 2 – Play with the same challenge, draw a new perspective and swap game mode convince/you are, get foolish again for five minutes.
- Step 4: Idea Evaluation – Vote on ideas and select top three.
- Step 5: Reality Check – Apply ideas to real-world scenarios, prioritize.

It should fit into one sentence. Take your time to clearly identifythe problem you are trying to solve. Follow the "little helpers" in the game manual if you encounter difficulties.

Trust in Perspective Playground. The game will help you imagine yourself in other life situations. Dare to fully immerse yourself in the perspective. Otherwise, read through the "little helpers" in the game manual and try to answer the questions. You'll be surprised how ideas will flow from your brain.

It's recommended to play at least two rounds to activate both game modes (convince/you are). For even more ideas, feel free to draw additional Perspective Cards and switch between game modes at any time.
